“Rizzoli & Isles” star, Lee Thompson Young’s funeral will be held on Friday afternoon at the Paramount Studios lot where the show is filmed.

The former Disney star was found dead in his North Hollywood apartment Monday morning. Authorities and Young’s manager said the actor died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Young, 29, played detective Barry Frost on the TNT crime drama alongside Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander. On the show, Frost was a computer whiz who became ill at the sight of blood. Young was scheduled to return as a regular on the show, which had just been renewed for a fifth season.

TMZ first reported the location and date of the service, saying hundreds of people are expected to attend. The funeral will be private.

Young’s family is asking that people make donations to Young Storytellers Foundation in lieu of flowers. The foundation helps expose underprivileged kids to the arts.

It is still unclear why Young committed suicide. He did not leave a suicide note and many did not know he was struggling with mental health issues.

Production on “Rizzoli & Isles” has been on hold since news of the actor’s death broke. Executives at TNT have not said how the plan on dealing with Young’s death on the show.
