Zach Braff’s Kickstarter-funded film, “Wish I Was Here,” has found a home with Focus Features. Focus Features acquired the film rights after its premiere at Sunday. The Hollywood Reporter said sources revealed the deal was for $2.75 million, with a theatrical commitment of 600 theaters.

The film, written by Braff and brother Adam, centers around 30-something Aidan Bloom as he struggles with the realization of his unfulfilled dreams and coming to terms with his father’s illness. The film stars Braff as well as Kate Hudson, Mandy Patinkin, Ashley Greene, and Joey King. “Wish I Was Here” has received mostly positive reviews since it’s premiere, including one from Harry Styles, who tweeted, “Today I watched @WIWHFilm. I wasn’t crying, I had sweaty eyes. Loved it.”
