Eclipse Debuts Huge; Stars to Surprise Fans

Eclipse opened on midnight on Wednesday, making over $30 million in just midnight screenings, beating the $26.3 million record that New Moon had set. Despite this, Eclipse didn’t manage to break New Moon’s opening day record, but still bringing in an impressive $65 million.

Even though most of you have already seen the film, here’s a reason to see it again: MTV is reporting that the stars of Eclipse will be popping up at random theaters this weekend to surprise fans. You never know where they might show up!
