L.A. played hostess to the fashion and beauty industry’s biggest summit on Saturday, the second annual BeautyCon, bringing together some of the top digital and online trendsetters.

More than 6,000 beauty fans gathered at Siren Studios in Hollywood for a chance to see some of their favorite industry insiders. Sponsored by NYX cosmetics, Style Haul and The Platform, BeautyCon gave attendees a chance to preview the season’s upcoming looks and get some great advice from the experts. Some of the more well known experts in attendance were Fashion Police’s Kelly Osborne, LEAFtv host and Because I’m Addicted blogger Geri Hirsch, and the Style Network’s Jeannie Mai.

For those of us who take the time scouring the internet to find the most informative and relatable beauty YouTube channels and are the followers of countless fashion blogs, this was the event of all events. BeautyCon is the one time of year that brings the continuously expanding online world of beauty and fashion together in one place.

This year’s conference brought an energy and vibrancy that had a life of its own. From the endless line that wrapped around Siren Studios, to being the top trending topic on twitter, there’s no denying  BeautyCon was the IT place to be this weekend. With so much going on there’s no conference quite like it, leaving a little something for everyone, whether you’re a beauty and fashion junkie or just getting into the whole scene.

Marina Curry the genius responsible for BeautyCon always imagined it being this big. “I wanted to bring the whole community  together. I know the girls who make videos are so powerful and influential I just wanted to create a community where everyone can come together, be empowered, invite their fans and create this safe environment for everyone.”

Attendees not only got a chance to attend some amazing panels with their favorite gurus, but got to visit some unique beauty stations and buy some of the best beauty products on the market. Guests got the full beauty treatment at BeautyCon, with full makeovers by bareMinerals that left everyone looking luminous. The pampering didn’t stop there for guests as they were also treated to manicures from the amazing Minx nail stickers and new nail art studio Two Brown Eyed Girls, whose artistic abilities were simply stunning.

The fashion and products available at BeautyCon are what fashion and beauty lovers live for. See You Monday, a fashion line that takes world fashion and puts an L.A. twist on it, allows girls to dictate their fashion no matter the season with layering. The line leaves girls with room for self expression. Cult Gaia let girls get in touch with their inner ethereal princess with their fresh flower crowns, that truly are a labor of love as well as a fashion must have. Destiny Candle was another beauty find at BeautyCon. It centers around a candle that doubles as massage oil and “a way to activate your destiny”– as their motto goes, with a lasting surprise crystal gift in the center to keep your goals with you.

Most importantly BeautyCon gave vloggers and bloggers a chance to meet  their subscribers, the people who make them into the sensations they are today. The love and appreciation they have for their fans was undeniable and they took the chance to express it whenever possible, whether it was through beauty tips or life advice.

Here are just few pieces of advice from some of your favorite vloggers and bloggers:

“Just be yourself and freaking go for it if you’re wanting to wear the little neon tube top, but you’re scared what people are going to think just wear it. Because the worst thing that can happen to you is you end up being really embarrassed by what you wore, but the courage that you get from actually wearing something and stretching your boundaries  that is going to help you become a stronger person,” Jen Im from Clothes Encounters said.

“You have to be really secure with yourself I know people are expecting me to say makeup and stuff like that, but I think it’s all about your self confidence don’t worry about what other people have to say just do you,” popular vlogger Nicole Guerriero said.

“Follow your dreams and your passion whatever you like most like something that you would do without getting paid without anything always pursue that,” BeautyCon founder Marina Curry said.

“It’s great to look up to people, but always be yourself and do what’s right for you,” said Alba Garcia from SunKissAlba .

“Just be yourself remember beauty comes from within as from the outer. In order to look pretty you have to feel pretty so if you cherish yourself you will feel like a million bucks and look like a million bucks,” Missy Lynn from Start2FinishMUA said.

“Be yourself and find what makes you passionate about life,” said Cassandra Bankson from DiamondsAndHeels14.

“Just wear what you like doesn’t matter who doesn’t like it just wear what you feel confident in,”  Aspyn from HauteBrilliance said.
