With just 44 days until the release of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2″ (but who’s counting?), Lionsgate has released the final trailer for the film. Like, ever. As in, you will never see another “The Hunger Games” trailer ever again.

The trailer begins with a sweet moment between Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and her sister Prim (Willow Shields), as they dance in District 13. But the moment is cut short: Katniss has to lead the revolution to take down the Capitol. “We all have one enemy, and that’s President Snow!” she yells as she urges the other districts to join the fight. Lots of explosions, monsters, and shooting, promise for an action packed film. “Nothing can prepare you for the end,” the trailer warns in emblazoned letters as Finnick (Sam Claflin) whispers to Katniss, “Welcome to the 76th Hunger Games.”

Those who have read the books will catch some notable moments, like Katniss picking up a white rose in a garden, Tigris, a likely important explosion (at 1:08), and that ever important march that’s cut throughout the trailer. Confused? Don’t worry, you can find out when the film is released in the US on November 20.

With a little over two months left until the release of the final “The Hunger Games” film, Lionsgate has released some new “Mockingjay Part 2″ promos.

The poster features Katniss with a mockingjay on her shoulder, and a tagline at top which has us scratching our heads: “A creature as unquenchable as the sun.” We’ll forgive the confusing and dramatic line only because of the heart-wrenching trailer dedicated to Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Prim (Willow Shields) that was also released today.

The trailer shows the emotional history of Katniss and her sister Prim, from the moment Katniss volunteered for the games in place of her sibling (in “The Hunger Games”), all the way until the revolution in the last film. “I never wanted this, I just wanted to save my sister, and keep Peeta alive,” she tells President Snow.

Directed by Francis Lawrence, the film also stars Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland, all reprising their original roles.

“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2″ will hit theaters on November 20, and tickets can be purchased started October 1.

On Thursday, the cast of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2″ participated in their very last Comic Con panel in San Diego, CA. Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Willow Shields, producer Nina Jacobsen and director Francis Lawrence were joined on stage by moderator Conan O’brien (you may have heard of him) to discuss the past films and what fans can look forward to in the finale.

The panel opened with a full drumline dressed in all white. Fans were then treated with a short teaser for the film, a “message from District 13.”

The gem that is Jennifer countered with “And he couldn’t stay away for long. He couldn’t resist this.”

As for Gale, Liam admits that although he’s been on the sidelines in the past films, he “becomes a big part as to how to attack the Capitol.”
The heartthrob said if he met Gale in real life he would tell him, “It’s alright mate, plenty of fish in the sea.” A possible option? Peeta, apparently.

After Josh admitted to looking forward to a scene that Peeta and Gale have, Jennifer was shocked she didn’t know about it. “There might be a kiss between Josh and I,” Hemsworth said. Josh quickly responded, “They said no spoilers, man!” DON’T TEASE US LIAM!

Francis told the crowd, “War is under way…this is where Katniss gets back in the action.” This was all revealed in the first trailer, which won’t make its way online for a while. (Sad face, I know). The trailer included some looks to the past, some Katniss and Peeta action, some big and deadly explosions at the Capitol, and President Snow saying, “The game is coming to its end.” At one point Peeta tells Katniss to make all the death mean something, which can point to one huge plot point (which I won’t reveal, but readers of the book YOU KNOW WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT).

“Anyone who loves the end of the book will love the end of the movie,” Francis revealed, which again, tells anyone who read the books a lot. All I’m saying is YES, #TEAMPEETA. (Sorry for the spoiler, kinda).

Jennifer got a bit sentimental when talking about saying goodbye to Katniss, “I’ll never really say goodbye to her. I feel like it’ll always be a part of me.” She also clumsily gave Katniss credit, saying she hopes Katniss’ character rubbed off on her: “She’s brave and I’m an actress… What I have in my head is actually pretty interesting and there’s no way I’m going to be able to get it out. Something was kind of bestowed on Katniss in a way the same as saying yes to these movies was on to me. I’d like to hope that some of the leadership —you guys, I haven’t done interviews in like a year.”

The cast also tried to do the Mockingjay whisle… and failed. Liam belted out the X Files tune instead.

So… Is is November yet?

Eight new “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” posters have been released for the film’s last Comic-Con panel, which will take place this Thursday (July 9) in San Diego, California. The new posters, tagged “Faces of the Revolution,” feature Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence), Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), Primrose (Willow Shields), Johanna (Jena Malone), Finnick (Sam Claflin), Cressida (Natalie Dormer), and Boggs (Mahershala Ali), covered with a red Mockingjay.

In the final film of the franchise, Katniss takes on the enemy- President Snow. Teamed with Gale, Peeta, and Finnick, Katniss leads the districts to a revolution against the Capitol. “Mockingjay Part 2,” directed by Francis Lawrence, will be released Novemeber 20, 2015.

After a week of the cast posting photos from the film with the date June 9, Lionsgate has released the first look at the final film of “The Hunger Games” series.

Francis Lawrence returned to direct the final film after directing the prior 2 in the series, “Catching Fire” and “Mockinjay Part 1.” “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2″ arrives in theaters Nov. 20.

In honor of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1″ release tonight at midnight, we wanted to share this lovely interview with Elizabeth Banks and Jennifer Lawrence. Taking the role of Caesar Flickerman, Banks asks Lawrence a series of questions, mostly related to badass-ery. “You basically have a penis,” Elizabeth tells Jennifer, before revealing that Haymitch and Effie would “three” with Katniss. (YEAH.)

With just a little over a month until the next installment of “The Hunger Games” is released, fans are growing in anticipation. Lionsgate has slowly been releasing stills, teasers, and trailers revealing little. In the latest clip, we see Gale (Liam Hemsworth), angry over something “he” said (and the he is very clear to those who have read the books), as well as a beat up Peeta (Josh Hutcherson).

Hunger Games fans rejoice! Lionsgate has released a first look at Julianne Moore as President Alma Coin in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1″. Moore ditched her signature red locks and green eyes for Coin’s grey stare and mane. A second photo shows Coin with Plutarch Heavensby, played by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman. The film, also starring Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, is set for release in November.

Lionsgate announced today that four-time Academy Award nominee, Julianna Moore, was cast as President Alma Coin in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2.” These installments are slated to be released in November of 2014 and November 2015, respectively.

President Alma Coin is president of District 13, and the leader of the rebellion. Although her and Katniss are on the same side, Katniss dislikes President Coin for her ruthlessness and hunger for power. President Coin would do anything to undermine President Snow, including killing children and her own Medical Corps. She is described as being in her 50s, with grey hair and eyes, and looks as though “all the color was sucked away,” according to Katniss.

Julianne Moore seems the perfect fit for President Coin, minus her red hair. But nothing some hair dye (or a wig?) can’t fix.
