We’ve said it once (or twice, or three times), but we’re just not prepared for the end of “The Hunger Games.” Although the final trailer for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2″ was released a little less than a month ago, Lionsgate has released a new clip. Buzzfeed exclusively shared the clip with just 18 days away from the film’s premiere.

In the clip, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) reveals her plans to kill President Snow to Johanna Mason (Jena Malone). The two are at Finnick’s (Sam Claflin) wedding to Annie Cresta (Stef Dawson) when Katniss drops the bombshell after hearing Johanna say that her and Peeta used to hear each other’s screams while imprisoned at the Capitol. “Nothing good is safe while he’s alive and I can’t make another speech about it,” Katniss declares.

Francis Lawrence directed the final film, which also stars Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, and Willow Shields. “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2″ will hit theaters November 20, 2015.

With just 44 days until the release of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2″ (but who’s counting?), Lionsgate has released the final trailer for the film. Like, ever. As in, you will never see another “The Hunger Games” trailer ever again.

The trailer begins with a sweet moment between Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and her sister Prim (Willow Shields), as they dance in District 13. But the moment is cut short: Katniss has to lead the revolution to take down the Capitol. “We all have one enemy, and that’s President Snow!” she yells as she urges the other districts to join the fight. Lots of explosions, monsters, and shooting, promise for an action packed film. “Nothing can prepare you for the end,” the trailer warns in emblazoned letters as Finnick (Sam Claflin) whispers to Katniss, “Welcome to the 76th Hunger Games.”

Those who have read the books will catch some notable moments, like Katniss picking up a white rose in a garden, Tigris, a likely important explosion (at 1:08), and that ever important march that’s cut throughout the trailer. Confused? Don’t worry, you can find out when the film is released in the US on November 20.

With a little over two months left until the release of the final “The Hunger Games” film, Lionsgate has released some new “Mockingjay Part 2″ promos.

The poster features Katniss with a mockingjay on her shoulder, and a tagline at top which has us scratching our heads: “A creature as unquenchable as the sun.” We’ll forgive the confusing and dramatic line only because of the heart-wrenching trailer dedicated to Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Prim (Willow Shields) that was also released today.

The trailer shows the emotional history of Katniss and her sister Prim, from the moment Katniss volunteered for the games in place of her sibling (in “The Hunger Games”), all the way until the revolution in the last film. “I never wanted this, I just wanted to save my sister, and keep Peeta alive,” she tells President Snow.

Directed by Francis Lawrence, the film also stars Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland, all reprising their original roles.

“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2″ will hit theaters on November 20, and tickets can be purchased started October 1.

The first full length trailer for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2″ has finally arrived. In the final installment of the “The Hunger Games,” Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) leads a revolution against the Capitol and President Snow (Donald Sutherland).

In the trailer, we hear President Snow say “I’ve been watching you, and you watching me. My dear Miss Everdeen, make no mistake, the game is coming to it’s end.” As the plans begin to be made for the revolution, Finnick Odair (Sam Claflin) tells Katniss “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 76th Hunger Games.” We see lots of action, Katniss and her team from Distric 13 running from what we can only assume are traps made by the Capitol to kill. Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) seems to be back to his old self. At the end of Part 1 we saw Peeta try to kill Katniss after being brainwashed by the Capitol. But the trailer shows a hug between the two as we hear him say, “Our lives were never ours. They belong to snow and our deaths do too. But if you kill him Katniss, if you end all of this, all those deaths, they mean something.”

The film will hit theaters on November 20, 2015.

On Thursday, the cast of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2″ participated in their very last Comic Con panel in San Diego, CA. Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Willow Shields, producer Nina Jacobsen and director Francis Lawrence were joined on stage by moderator Conan O’brien (you may have heard of him) to discuss the past films and what fans can look forward to in the finale.

The panel opened with a full drumline dressed in all white. Fans were then treated with a short teaser for the film, a “message from District 13.”

The gem that is Jennifer countered with “And he couldn’t stay away for long. He couldn’t resist this.”

As for Gale, Liam admits that although he’s been on the sidelines in the past films, he “becomes a big part as to how to attack the Capitol.”
The heartthrob said if he met Gale in real life he would tell him, “It’s alright mate, plenty of fish in the sea.” A possible option? Peeta, apparently.

After Josh admitted to looking forward to a scene that Peeta and Gale have, Jennifer was shocked she didn’t know about it. “There might be a kiss between Josh and I,” Hemsworth said. Josh quickly responded, “They said no spoilers, man!” DON’T TEASE US LIAM!

Francis told the crowd, “War is under way…this is where Katniss gets back in the action.” This was all revealed in the first trailer, which won’t make its way online for a while. (Sad face, I know). The trailer included some looks to the past, some Katniss and Peeta action, some big and deadly explosions at the Capitol, and President Snow saying, “The game is coming to its end.” At one point Peeta tells Katniss to make all the death mean something, which can point to one huge plot point (which I won’t reveal, but readers of the book YOU KNOW WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT).

“Anyone who loves the end of the book will love the end of the movie,” Francis revealed, which again, tells anyone who read the books a lot. All I’m saying is YES, #TEAMPEETA. (Sorry for the spoiler, kinda).

Jennifer got a bit sentimental when talking about saying goodbye to Katniss, “I’ll never really say goodbye to her. I feel like it’ll always be a part of me.” She also clumsily gave Katniss credit, saying she hopes Katniss’ character rubbed off on her: “She’s brave and I’m an actress… What I have in my head is actually pretty interesting and there’s no way I’m going to be able to get it out. Something was kind of bestowed on Katniss in a way the same as saying yes to these movies was on to me. I’d like to hope that some of the leadership —you guys, I haven’t done interviews in like a year.”

The cast also tried to do the Mockingjay whisle… and failed. Liam belted out the X Files tune instead.

So… Is is November yet?

Eight new “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” posters have been released for the film’s last Comic-Con panel, which will take place this Thursday (July 9) in San Diego, California. The new posters, tagged “Faces of the Revolution,” feature Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence), Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), Primrose (Willow Shields), Johanna (Jena Malone), Finnick (Sam Claflin), Cressida (Natalie Dormer), and Boggs (Mahershala Ali), covered with a red Mockingjay.

In the final film of the franchise, Katniss takes on the enemy- President Snow. Teamed with Gale, Peeta, and Finnick, Katniss leads the districts to a revolution against the Capitol. “Mockingjay Part 2,” directed by Francis Lawrence, will be released Novemeber 20, 2015.

One Monday, June 22, 20th century Fox held a livestream Q&A with the cast of Independence Day 2, in which we learned the sequel will be titled “Independence Day Resurgence.” Along with the title, a release date of June 24th, 2016 was announce. Only a year and a day to go! The event was held on set in Albuquerque, New Mexico with returning cast Bill Pullman, Jeff Goldblum and Vivica A Fox , as well as newcomers Liam Hemsworth, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe and Sela Ward.

Director Roland Emmerich also shared some first look on set photos, including one of a new key vehicle, the Moon Tug. Hemsworth, who plays Jake Morrison, said, “It’s kind of unlucky how he ends up in that ship. Jake lost his parents in the first attack, he grew up in an orphanage, and eventually joined the military and became a fighter pilot, and eventually became one of the best of the best fighter pilots. I think his ego kind of got in the way, he made a bad decision and put someone’s life at risk, and he got the great job of driving this moon tug, which is basically a forklift on the moon.”

The official synopsis reads “We always knew they were coming back. After Independence Day redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global spectacle on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.”

After a week of the cast posting photos from the film with the date June 9, Lionsgate has released the first look at the final film of “The Hunger Games” series.

Francis Lawrence returned to direct the final film after directing the prior 2 in the series, “Catching Fire” and “Mockinjay Part 1.” “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2″ arrives in theaters Nov. 20.

Director Roland Emrich has announced the casting of Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, and Jessie Usher in his upcoming sequel, “Independence Day 2.” Goldblum will reprise his role as David Levinson from the 1996 hit and Usher will play Captain Steven Hiller’s (Will Smith) son. Details of Hemsworth’s role are unclear, as is the plot of the film. The film is set to be released summer of 2016.

With just a little over a month until the next installment of “The Hunger Games” is released, fans are growing in anticipation. Lionsgate has slowly been releasing stills, teasers, and trailers revealing little. In the latest clip, we see Gale (Liam Hemsworth), angry over something “he” said (and the he is very clear to those who have read the books), as well as a beat up Peeta (Josh Hutcherson).
