The comedy Gods have come together and sent us what could be the next dynamic duo. During an interview discussing the last ‘Hunger Games’ film, Jennifer Lawrence leaked to The New York Times what her post ‘Hunger Games’ future holds.

One thing she mentioned is that it holds a lot more of Amy Schumer. Since becoming fast friends this summer, the two decided to write a screenplay together in which they plan to star.

Lawrence told the New York Times, “We play sisters. We’re almost done writing. It just flowed out of us. We’ve got about 100 pages right now.” She went on to explain how the writing process between them works:

“Amy and I were creatively made for each other. We have different flavors. It’s been the most fun experience of my life. We start the day off on the phone, laughing. And then we send each other pages. And we crack up. I’m flying out tomorrow to see her in Chicago. We’ll write a little bit with her sister, Kim, who worked with Amy when she was writing Trainwreck.

I know just hearing about the project is filling you guys up with anticipation over the movie itself (something Jon Stewart predicted would happen!), but before we get there, just think about what the Lawrence-Schumer publicity tour will look like when this film gets made. Lawrence is already a charmer on red carpets and once you combine her charm with Schumer’s signature deadpan delivery, we get giddy just thinking about it. Assuming their writing styles do translate well on film, the whole thing will be double the goof and double the fun.

So whose brilliant idea was it to pair J.Law and Schumer? Well, the friendship developed when Lawrence reached out to Schumer after watching Schumer’s film, “Trainwreck.”

“I emailed her after I saw Trainwreck,” Lawrence said. According to Lawrence, she wrote, “I don’t know where to get started. I guess I should just say it: I’m in love with you.” Lawrence said the e-mailing turned to texting and the rest, as they say, is jet-skiing history.

For an early taste of what their banter will look like, here’s what happened after Lawrence realized she inadverdantly announced the project. Lawrence texted Schumer to warn her that news of their collaboration was out. According to Lawrence this is what texts between these two new friends and partners look like:

J.Law: I just spilled the beans to The New York Times. Is that O.K.?

Schumer: That you’re gay? Totally! It’s exciting!

The first full length trailer for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2″ has finally arrived. In the final installment of the “The Hunger Games,” Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) leads a revolution against the Capitol and President Snow (Donald Sutherland).

In the trailer, we hear President Snow say “I’ve been watching you, and you watching me. My dear Miss Everdeen, make no mistake, the game is coming to it’s end.” As the plans begin to be made for the revolution, Finnick Odair (Sam Claflin) tells Katniss “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 76th Hunger Games.” We see lots of action, Katniss and her team from Distric 13 running from what we can only assume are traps made by the Capitol to kill. Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) seems to be back to his old self. At the end of Part 1 we saw Peeta try to kill Katniss after being brainwashed by the Capitol. But the trailer shows a hug between the two as we hear him say, “Our lives were never ours. They belong to snow and our deaths do too. But if you kill him Katniss, if you end all of this, all those deaths, they mean something.”

The film will hit theaters on November 20, 2015.

Eight new “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” posters have been released for the film’s last Comic-Con panel, which will take place this Thursday (July 9) in San Diego, California. The new posters, tagged “Faces of the Revolution,” feature Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence), Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), Primrose (Willow Shields), Johanna (Jena Malone), Finnick (Sam Claflin), Cressida (Natalie Dormer), and Boggs (Mahershala Ali), covered with a red Mockingjay.

In the final film of the franchise, Katniss takes on the enemy- President Snow. Teamed with Gale, Peeta, and Finnick, Katniss leads the districts to a revolution against the Capitol. “Mockingjay Part 2,” directed by Francis Lawrence, will be released Novemeber 20, 2015.

In honor of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1″ release tonight at midnight, we wanted to share this lovely interview with Elizabeth Banks and Jennifer Lawrence. Taking the role of Caesar Flickerman, Banks asks Lawrence a series of questions, mostly related to badass-ery. “You basically have a penis,” Elizabeth tells Jennifer, before revealing that Haymitch and Effie would “three” with Katniss. (YEAH.)

With just a little over a month until the next installment of “The Hunger Games” is released, fans are growing in anticipation. Lionsgate has slowly been releasing stills, teasers, and trailers revealing little. In the latest clip, we see Gale (Liam Hemsworth), angry over something “he” said (and the he is very clear to those who have read the books), as well as a beat up Peeta (Josh Hutcherson).

Last night, the final trailer for “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” premiered during Game 4 of the World Series. The trailer features little dialogue, but does include a voice over by President Snow saying, “Miss Everdeen, you fought very hard in the arena. But they were games. Would you like to be in a real war?” For those familiar with the novel, you see a glimpse of the next arena, some crazy mutant animals, as well as a quick look at Katniss as she’s about to presumably hit the arena with her arrow.

“Hunger Games” alum, Amandla Stenberg has been tapped to join Fox’s breakout drama “Sleepy Hollow.”

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Stenberg, who played Rue in the 2012 film, will recur on the show as Orlando Jones’ daughter. Sternberg will play Macey, the teenage daughter of Capt. Frank Irving and his ex wife Cynthia. Macey distances herself from her father after he takes the job as Captain in Sleepy Hollow. Macey will first appear on the Nov. 25 episode. (Stenberg’s character was originally named Mae).

“Fringe” regular John Noble will make his debut for a major recurring role when the show returns after baseball.

“Sleepy Hollow” has proved to be one of the season’s most popular freshman shows. Its premiere retention (when you include DVR viewing) has already surpassed all of last season’s new shows.

Lionsgate and Republic Records have announced information about the soundtrack for “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” The soundtrack, which will be released November 19, features original songs by Patti Smith, The Weeknd, The Lumineers, Of Monsters and Men, and many more. You can already purchase “Atlas” by Coldplay, “Elastic Heart” by Sia, and “We Remain” by Christina Aguilera on iTunes. Check out the full track listing below.

Lionsgate announced today that four-time Academy Award nominee, Julianna Moore, was cast as President Alma Coin in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2.” These installments are slated to be released in November of 2014 and November 2015, respectively.

President Alma Coin is president of District 13, and the leader of the rebellion. Although her and Katniss are on the same side, Katniss dislikes President Coin for her ruthlessness and hunger for power. President Coin would do anything to undermine President Snow, including killing children and her own Medical Corps. She is described as being in her 50s, with grey hair and eyes, and looks as though “all the color was sucked away,” according to Katniss.

Julianne Moore seems the perfect fit for President Coin, minus her red hair. But nothing some hair dye (or a wig?) can’t fix.
