Where there’s an awards show, you can bet there’s a gifting suite somewhere nearby and special events company GBK got in on all the gifting action with this year’s MTV Movie Award Luxury Gifting Lounge.

Held at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills on Friday and Saturday, GBK honored the nominees and presenters of the 2014 MTV Movie Awards with two full days of luxurious gifts and delicious goodies.

Invited guests received top-tier goods and services ranging from fashion and beauty products, to exotic travel destinations – like a six-day stay at any Mayan Palace Resort courtesy of Millennium International Travel.

Guests also had various munchies at their disposal — to give them energy to carry the giant duffel bags full of freebies to their cars. Barry’s Gourmet Brownies had more than six different brownie flavors on hand to get VIPs through their day. Jackson’s Honest Potato Chips offered up organic, vegan and naturally gluten free chips for the more health conscious attendees. And, of course, no gifting suite is complete without free booze – Deep Eddy Vodka, basked out of Austin, TX had the honor of banning the bar this year.

As always, GBK also featured a variety of charitable organizations including Lambda Legal (a gay rights groups), Los Angeles Youth Network, Autism Speaks, and the American Red Cross.

Celebrities in attendance included Omar Epps (House/Resurrection), Paige Turco (The 100s), Rebecca Mader (Once Upon a Time), Tiya Sircar (The Crazy Ones) and Andy Richert (Late Night with Conan O’Brien).

Overall, the event was a great way to preview the next big things in style, food, and electronics. Here are a few of the products and companies that caught our attention.

Onkyo Headphones: Originally focused on home entertainment systems, the Japanese brand is now working on high end headphones. Celebrities received on ear headphones from Onkyo’s ES-CTI300 line. The company also created a free music app that allows you to personalize your listening experience through customized equalizers.

Qupid Shoes: This shoe line is not only incredibly stylish, but it is also 100 percent vegan so animal lovers can rock them without any guilt. Qupid had a variety of their styles on hand for all the VIPs. The website is currently wholesale only so you’ll have to contact them via email for a list of boutiques where you can find the shoes.

Pono Woodworks: This small company based out of Hawaii focuses on wood products, and not just any wood, Hawaiian Koa wood, which can only be found on the island. Pono’s founder was working as a carpenter when he decided to use his skills to make sleek jewelry and accessories. The company gifted its Surfrider watch, iPhone cases, and titanium rings.

The Artisan Group: Always a favorite at GBK suites, the Artisan Group is a collective of business owners that make unique lifestyle products. They make everything from trendy jewelry to bath products to handmade stationary. Each gift bag they handed out featured creations from different artisans, so no two bags were the same. Being the dog lovers that we are, we really liked the dog accessories created by 4 Black Paws. Our dogs are fancy.

Fracassi Lashes: Never wear mascara again, at least that’s what founder Falicia Fracassi promises with her eyelash extensions. The Fracassi line offers individual extensions and regular false eyelashes. What makes her lashes great is that they are made out of real human hair so they look natural while still adding volume and length. The Fracassi Lash Bar (currently only in New York) offers extensions that last up to a month. That means no mascara for a whole month.

MTHEMOVEMENT: Started in 2005 by Michael Luis Asis Herrera (most commonly known as “M”), Mthemovement is a luxury streetwear line for men and women with an emphasis on its humanitarian perspective. The collection is comprised of denims, cashmere sweaters, fashion knit tops, intimates and accessories, with an emphasis on eco friendly fabrics. For GBK, M gifted glow in the dark tees with his face printed on them (it sounds weird, but the graphic is actually really cool)

SYC FUK: SYC FUK stands for Street Youth Couture From Unwanted Kids. The company creates one of a kind high end street wear with an edge. All of their products are American-made with high quality products. SYC FUK already has a celebrity clientele with endorsements from Motley Crue and Holly Madison (“The Girls Next Door”)

Lollipop Bandz: Similar to the old school gel bracelets we used to rock in middle school — but twice the fun — Lollipop Bandz are customizable bracelets with a lollipop clasp. You can turn them into shoelaces or headband accessories. At less than $5, customers can choose from a variety of colors and designs including emoticons, animals and even foods.

content with the other treats the weekend had to offer.

There were parties, there were press events, there was the Governor’s Ball, but the most extravagant part of the weekend had to be the gifting suites.

Gift lounges are an essential part of any awards show and this year’s Emmy nominees had plenty of swag to choose from. Even with all the available choices, the popular events company, GBK productions managed to put on the most spectacular suite of them all.

The annual Emmys Luxury Gift Lounge took place at the W Hotel in Hollywood on September 21 and 22. TV personalities big and small stopped by the event to mingle with friends, grab some cocktails and most importantly, get free stuff.

But just what did these stars pick up from the lounge you ask? Take a look below to see the coolest items from the weekend.

1. All-inclusive trip for two to the Caribbean: The travel magazine Caribbean Living gave the nominees the opportunity to stay at the Hard Rock resorts out in the island tropics. If that isn’t lavish, then what is?

2. Personal training from Mansion Fitness: We all know fitness is a huge priority in Hollywood and with Mansion Fitness celebs can get in shape and be stylish at the same time. The facility for Mansion Fitness really is in a mansion. It is also extremely private, there are no memberships and all of the sessions are one-on-one.

3. Ron Donovan shoes: With prices rivaling those of Louboutin, this brand is super lush. All of the shoes are Italian-made and pretty comfortable—especially for being sky-high heels. Celebrities went home with gift certificates for a free pair of shoes and/or $300 off their first purchase.

4. Nulo Pet Products: Let’s face it, people in Hollywood are obsessed with their pets and it just isn’t right to get a bunch of free stuff without taking something home for your four-legged loved one. Attendees with pets went home with at least one bag of Nulo’s premium, all-natural dog and cat food.

5. Hot Rock Jewelry: Specializing in one-of-a-kind jewelry made of precious metals and stones, Hot Rock gave celebrities a custom gold pendant. Emmy nominees were given special “nominee” pendants. Always thinking about giving back, Hot Rock representatives were encouraging recipients to donate their necklaces to charity.

6. Eye Saw You mobile app: You may be asking yourself, what is so cool about a mobile app? After all, anyone can download this app (a social media app focusing on missed connections in case you were wondering). Well, the app came pre-loaded on to the X tablet. Yep, free tablet for everyone

7. The Artisan Group goodies: The Artisan Group is a collective of artists who make jewelry, stationery, spa and bath products, and other hand-made goodies. Attendees went home with a giant duffel bag full of one-of-a-kind gifts.

8. Miracle Hydrate skin products: Perserving the skin is a must for celebrities and miracle hydrate offered to help them maintain that youthful look. Guests received the MH3 line, which included anti-aging products infused with snake venom.

9. Beanpatch & Co. toys: Celebrities also snagged a few items for their kids (or nieces, nephews, cousins etc.). Beanpatch & Co. imports beautiful vintage style infant and children’s toys. Guests were gifted Baghera French pedal cars and Franck & Fischer plush toys.

10. Secret Agent Beauty: Everyone love’s getting free make-up, but it’s even more fun when there’s a cool 007 vibe attached to it. All of the Secret Agent products are dual purpose and come in sleek agent-like packaging. Celebrities went home with lip plumper sets and lip treatments.

Honorable mentions: Savee Laguna Beach dresses and leggings, Toy State 007 model cars, Mason Jar Cookie Company cookie mixes, Foster Grant sunglasses, Wolfhardt leather accessories, Yazi Ginger Vodka.

this weekend.

As if the Academy Awards weren’t already glamorous enough, celebrities got to spend the weekend perusing several different suites getting free swag. Even with all the choices available to celebs, GBK managed to put on the most spectacular suite of them all.

This invitation only lounge started on Friday morning and ended Saturday evening. Honored guests included the nominees, presenters, and many other well known celebrities.

Upon arriving, attendees were immediately greeted with luxury–edible luxury. Vendors in the main hallway were serving up delicious high end treats. Guests with a sweet tooth indulged in designer caramel apples by Apple Revolution. While those with a salt craving tried California Caviar’s customized xavier collection. The appetizers were then washed down with organic wines from Domodimonti Natural Wine.

Once everyone’s appetites were satisfied, people moved on to explore the extravagant and unique gifts. The Artisan Group, a collective of over 700 artists and entrepreneurs, presented guests with handmade jewelry, soaps, knitted hats, and pet toys. Fans of sparkle were treated Canadian jewelry designer, Karen McClintock‘s creative pieces. Adorned with colorful crystals, silver leaves, and antique coins, McClintock’s jewelry was the perfect mix of whimsy and classic. Celebrities with an eye for more traditional bling snagged some of Lafonn’s simulated diamond jewelry. At less than half the price of regular diamonds, Lafonn is also affordable for those of us who don’t make millions a year.

Of course no gifting suite is complete without beauty and health products. The toxin free nail company, Julep, was on hand giving guests manicures and showing off its new Oscar collection. The seven colors in the collection were all named after this year’s best actress nominees. They also featured a gold glitter polish called Oscar. Other popular health and beauty products included thinkThin nutrition bars, TEI Spa Essentials, Green Polka Dot Box organic foods, and the Glymed Plus skin care system.

The A-list celebrities at the lounge also received a Lumeria Maui luxury retreat. The package includes yoga classes, water activities, metaphysical studies, horticulture and Hawaiian history and culture.
