CBS announced this morning (Oct. 18) that its new comedies, “The Crazy Ones,” “The Millers,” and “Mom” would be getting back-nine pick-ups, rounding out to a first full season. CBS has already pulled the new show “We are Men” from it’s schedule. Nina Tassler, President of CBS Entertainment, said, “We’re proud of CBS’s leadership position in comedy and excited to build on it with the back nine pick-ups of these three new comedies. These series are creatively distinct, continue to improve each week and are led by strong showrunners, writing and production staffs, and feature amazingly talented casts.”

Last night, “That Crazy Ones” and “The Millers” saw a slight increase in viewership. “The Crazy Ones,” starring Robin Williams saw 12.2 million viewers overall, and “The Millers” drew 9.5 million at 9 p.m. Chuck Lorre’s “Mom,” which airs on Mondays, attracted 6.7 million viewers this past week. The Monday night competition has proven difficult for CBS as it competes with NBC’s “The Voice” and “The Blacklist,” as well as ABC’s “Dancing with The Stars.” The decision to keep the show is most likely due to the names attached: Lorre, Anna Faris, and Allison Janney.
