While we might be used to seeing Zac Efron as a frat boy a la “Neighbors,” it’s actually Robert De Niro whose wild antics are taking over in the new “Dirty Grandpa” trailer. Directed by Dan Mazer (I Give It a Year), the film follows widower Dick Kelly (De Niro) as he takes his wife’s orders to play the field. Dick tricks his uptight, soon to wed grandson Jason (Efron) into spending a party fueled spring break in Daytona.

Julianne Hough stars as Jason’s fiance Meredith. Aubrey Plaza, Dermot Mulroney, and Zoey Deutch co-star in “Dirty Grandpa,” which hits theaters January 22, 2016.

Selena Gomez has joined the cast of Universal’s “Neighbors 2.” Selena joins Zac Efron, Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, and Dave Franco for the sequel to 2014’s “Neighbors.” Chloe Moretz is also attached to play a new character. Although the plot for the sequel hasn’t been released, IMDB lists the film’s full title as “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.” Will we be seeing Selena as a sorority girl? Or perhaps more of “Spring Breaker” type? See what we did there?

Selena Gomez has been keeping herself busy. She will be releasing an album on October 9th, titled “Revival,” and has several upcoming films. Selena recently wrapped “The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving,” withe Paul Rudd,  “The Big Short,” which stars Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, and Ryan Gosling (just to name a few) and “In Dubious Battle,” directed and starring by James Franco.

The original “Neighbors” brought in $269 million worldwide. Hoping to make that magic again for the sequel is director Nicholas Stoller. Stoller also wrote the film with Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Andrew Jay Cohen and Brendan O’Brien.

Focus Features has released a brand new red band trailer for “That Awkward Moment,” starring Zac Efron, Miles Teller, and Michael B. Jordan.

The film, originally titled “Are We Officially Dating?”, centers around three best friends who make a pact to stay single together after Mikey (Jordan), gets dumped. But, somewhere after the pact was made, Jason (Efron) and Daniel (Teller) found themselves each in the awkward in between stage of new relationships, where they have to decide where it’s going.

For Efron, “That Awkward Moment” will be followed by another raunchy comedy with Seth Rogen, “Neighbors.” Teller is no stranger to the genre having been in “Project X” and “21 & Over.” Teller has also been receiving praise for his role in “The Spectacular Now.” Michael B. Jordan made some splash earlier this year with the film, “Fruitvale Station.”

“That Awkward Moment” is set to be released at the end of January 31, 2014.
