We’ve defended Justin Bieber’s antics as just boy immaturity, but with this latest controversy, we can no longer defend him. Justin Bieber was arrested this morning for drag racing and  DUI. The Miami police posted on Twitter early this morning, “#BreakingNews confirming @justinbieber has been arrested for DUI & Drag Racing more info & press release coming.”

The Miami Herald reports that Bieber was charged for DUI and resisting arrest. Reports claimed Bieber admitted to have had a few beers, marijuana, and prescription drugs. Although Bieber’s breath test blew under legal limit at .011 and .014, he failed the roadside sobriety test. Also, is everyone aware that regardless, Justin Bieber is under legal drinking age?

Arrested with Bieber was his racing partner, and R&B artist, Khalil Sharief. Bieber was driving a 2013 Lamborghini, and Sharief a red Ferrari. Members of Bieber’s entourage reportedly used their SUVs to block traffic from entering the streets where the race took place. This all on the heels of Paul Walker’s death caused by speeding accident.

First, Justin had the “worst birthday” after he faced some issues with security at a club in London where he had planned to celebrate this birthday. He was then late to his show last Monday, causing some younger fans to leave early. Thursday (March 7) Justin collapsed backstage after suffering from shortness of breath throughout the show.

The next morning, Justin had a confrontation with a paparazzi where he threatened to “beat the f*ck” out of him.

And this is all following his very publicized break up with Selena Gomez and allegations of smoking weed. Not to mention, new reports every day of Selena not answering his texts, reports of him cheating on her in the past, and who knows what else. So what’s going on with him?

Nothing. He’s a 19 year old boy. I don’t know about you, but in high school I saw plenty of almost fights which can only be due to egos clashing. Isn’t that what happened with Justin and the paparazzo? How many guys at 19 smoked weed constantly? I still know guys like that. And as far as all the Selena Gomez drama goes, Justin is a human being. I’m sure he has enough to deal with, and adding all the gossip doesn’t help.

People seem to put celebrities on a pedestal that shouldn’t exist. I’m sure Justin Bieber is a bratty egotistical 19 year old sometimes, but, just read that sentence again. “19 year old”. How many 19-year olds work as hard as Justin does for their passion? Pretty sure most of them sit on their couch playing video games while attending community college and trying to still figure out what they want to do in life. Leave the poor kid alone and let him grow up and realize what an idiot he can be on his own.

Louis Tomlinson of One Direction tweeted in Justin’s defense, and I think what he said is pretty accurate.
