Who doesn’t love a reunion tour? Andrew McMahon has confirmed that Jack’s Mannequin will come back together for a series of “Everything In Transit” 10-year anniversary shows.

In 2004, McMahon began writing his first solo album away from his first band, Something Corporate. A year later, McMahon released “Everything in Transit,” as Jack’s Mannequin–McMahon was diagnosed with leukemia the same day the record was finished.

After making a full recovery, he released a documentary about his experience in 2009, “Dear Jack.” Jack’s Mannequin, which included members Bobby “Raw” Anderson, Jay McMillan, Mikey “The Kid” Wagner and Zac Clark,  went on to make two more albums before they decided to play their final show together in September 2012.

After more than three years apart, McMahon has announced that the band will be reuniting at the very start of 2016 to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of “Everything in Transit’s” release. He took to to Facebook to write:

“I am pleased to announce, the Jack’s Mannequin band and I will be getting together for a handful of exclusive engagements to celebrate the album ‘Everything in Transit.’ I will be the first to admit, I prefer keeping my focus in the present, but I cannot deny Transit’s place in my life and the lives of my fans. Even as I announce these shows I know there will be disappointment over the fact this will not be a full tour. To those of you in markets we are not playing, please know we picked the routing that allowed us to play the most shows in the short time that was available. As I said so many years ago, this is a story, and it will be performed as such, in its original running order from start to finish. The band and I are truly excited by the opportunity to revisit this album and we hope to see you there.”
