Fashion and beauty gurus throughout Southern California were treated to a day full of networking and free tips at Simply Stylist’s beauty conference at the Grove in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Simply Stylist has been shaking things up for fashion and beauty fans, giving them an all day outlet to connect with industry veterans and like minded individuals. Hitting many major cities like Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles Simply Stylist is slowly building traction while fostering a supportive community.

Cara Santana, Sarah Boyd, and Catt Sadler

The Los Angeles Simply Stylist event gave attendees the opportunity to connect with potential employers, influencers, and brands in a fun and less formal manner. The event was a great way for those just starting out or needing a revitalization to learn more about the industry, ask questions, hear from others, and simply get inspired.

It is no secret, breaking into the fashion and beauty world is hard, but hearing from the likes of Alessandra Ambrosio, Catt Sadler, Cara Santana, Stassi Schroeder, Wendy’s Lookbook, Michael Costello, Jenny Bernheim, and many more who are in it and experiencing success is a step in the right direction. The panels led by these industry leaders offer one of kind insights into what it takes to make a name for yourself and your passion in this competitive industry.

Simply Stylist would not be complete if attendees and speakers alike did not end their day with a true pampering experience, attendees were able to sip on cocktails and unwind while engaging with new brands. Some brands that took part in the festivities include: Rodial Skincare, DVF, Prova Pizza, Ale by Alessandra (Alessandra Ambrosio’s collection),Hair, makeup, and manicures from the Glam App & Sooth and personalized fashion illustrations by Time Out NY.
