Joico Haircare kicked off the summer season with a bash at the Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood. The event was hosted by celebrity colorist, Denis de Souza, and Whitney Port, fashion designer and TV personality. The night was full of tasty delights and great music from guest DJ, actress Shenae Grimes and husband Josh Beech, and of course, great hair products.

The pre-summer bash had everything to get guests ready for the upcoming summer hair trends. The night celebrated Joico’s new collaborations, including Denis de Souza from the Andy LeCompte Salon, who was recently announced as Joico’s celebrity colorist spokesperson. This partnership marks the start of his assistance in all color trend predictions, as well as consulting for Joico’s color line. The predicted trend for the summer is the SOMBRE, the subtle ombre.

Joico’s year long partnership with artist Bella Pilar was also a highlight. Together, Joico and Pilar created a collection of limited edition products that come as gifts with purchases of Joico products. The limited edition collection includes tote bags, sunglass cases, and cell phone cases with Bella Pilar animations.
