Today is the one year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death and the tributes have been going on throughout the day. Two of Michael’s siblings, Janet and Jermaine, visited a mausoleum at the Forest Lawn cemetery near Los Angeles, where his body was laid to rest. While his mother, Katherine, attended the unveiling of a monument outside the family’s first home in Gary, Indiana.

The stone monument featured a picture of him dancing with the words “Never Can Say Goodbye” chiseled beneath it. Fans laid cards and flowers along a fence outside the home and listened to speeches from politicians and celebrities. According to the Chicago Tribune, nearly 2,500 went to the singer’s home to pay their respects. Those of us who do not live near Indiana can post our own tribute on the Michael Jackson website. Los Angeles locals can also visit the cemetery where Michael was buried. The address is:
Forest Lawn-Glendale
1712 S. Glendale Avenue
Glendale, CA 91205
